I can’t believe today is the 22nd of December, and it’s almost 2015!
It seems like yesterday when we dropped off our freshman son off at college and my daughter left for her semester abroad to Australia (we got to visit her in November).
Remember when you were a kid. The school days passed by so slowly, and the summers ran by us full speed. Those days are just passing memories now.
First, I want to apologize for not being up to date on all your posts. It’s not for lack of interest! For some reason, my notification emails are not getting to me. I have looked, I still am following all of you, so not sure what is going on. It really makes it easy when you have an email to click on! I just don’t get to my reader like I used to. I’m just too busy being busy.
I want to thank all my fellow bloggers for all the support over the years. I have (virtually) met so many kind, smart, interesting and helpful people in this blogging world.
Happy Holidays and a Healthy New YEAR!

I haven’t posted a blog, or even looked at my reader.
Here is a link to what I have been up to in pictures. Click on the ferris wheel to watch it.
I also opened a store on the minted site, click the picture to see my storefront.
I would love feedback, if you have any to give.
Just another day at the watering hole…Timbavati Reserve, South Africa
We were in New Hampshire visiting my son 11 days ago, the leaves on the trees were vibrant and abundant.
Here is what it looks like 11 days later. Still beautiful, just not as colorful.
This arrived yesterday, Lakrids licorice. Sweet black licorice, covered with Belgium chocolate and dusted with licorice powder. We discovered it this summer, in Copenhagen, at a small kiosk in Tivoli Gardens. I ordered some from their website when we got home. One canister arrived in perfect condition, the other the chocolate had melted. After a round of emails with customer service, they sent me a brand new one. Thank you Casper! If you’re a licorice fan, you have got to try them.
That is the extra large container, filled with 160 of these delectable individually wrapped candies. You can see the small piece of black licorice nestled in the middle of the chocolate. The licorice taste is nothing like it’s american bitter counterpart, it is sweet. I’m just doing what the sticker says.
eat me like me blog ME.
